Profile: Andy Broomfield

Skills: Drupal, Wordpress, PHP, CSS, Photography

I'm a freelance web developer, specialising in Drupal and Wordpress.

Primarily as a themer and site builder, I can work either through a whole project, or take on specific tasks, whether that is Front End CSS work, or custom module development. I have skills in coding semantic HTML, CSS, SASS (Including Compass & Susy), CSS transitions & animations, Javascript & jQuery, PHP, MySQL, Processing and Arduino. I can work with several CMS systems and frameworks, I have experience with Drupal, Wordpress, Open Cart, and Joomla.

I have a background in graphic and interaction design, as part of site building I approach a project with consideration of UX and usability. All sites are developed to be responsive and work fully on mobile.

I've taken part at various hack days, including Rewired State, NHS Hackday, City Camp Brighton. I'm part of WLTMake, a group of artists and makers, and taken part in Both Brighton Fringe, with digital doodling as part of Doodlefest, and Brighton Digital Festival, as part of the Electric Biro Hackday.

I'm also a keen photographer, including event photography for several of the events I've taken part in. I can also offer photography and event documentation.
