I have been a freelancer since February 2002. Prior to going freelance I worked for an international merchant bank in London. There I worked on the European intranet engineering team. Our task was to design, implement and roll out new software products to the global intranet which comprised of thousands of physical servers. Before that I worked at a top ten UK Internet Service Provider as the systems manager. My job there was to manage all of our server infrastructure to ensure we maintained the highest levels of performance and reliability for our clients.

I now operate a hosting company providing the highest quality services, focusing on reliability, performance and honest value for money. I also provide consultancy services for a number of local firms, helping them to leverage (primarily) open source software to meet their business needs. I also develop database driven websites for a local web development agency, writting in PHP.
