On the 12th August, 11 freelancers got together in the beer garden of the Battle of Trafalgar pub to talk… mainly the eclipse, which happened just before our meeting and had 96% coverage of the sun in Brighton.
- Eclipse! (What did you see, did you have the special glasses, was a welding mask enough?)
- When clients want stuff done but their decision makers are away
- Not wanting to work in the Defence industry
- Not enough work on
- Soho House price rises
- Changing ingrained habits
- Growing your own veg in the heat
- Current films are too long
And lots of other things that were conversations that shouldn’t be public – this happens every week, there were just more of them than normal this week.
