I am a front end web developer, specialising in website speed and performance. I’m based in Brighton / Hove and work through my company, Lightspeed Digital.

I aim to work as closely as possible with my clients, in order to discover exactly what they’re looking to achieve and how they want their project to work. For this reason I remain open as to how to approach the creation of any website, choosing the most suitable solution once the planning stage is drawing to a close.

As well as front end development, I work with server side technologies PHP and MYSQL for projects which require bespoke server side functionalities. I provide my own hosting services based on the combination of Linux and NGINX, which I have personally engineered to be as high performing and stable as possible.

SB Lets & Sales is a rising star in Brighton’s property market. This project required a complete re-imagining of their online presence, allowing visitors to effortlessly browse and search through properties of personal interest.

Pepperfox – https://pepperfox.com

Pepperfox is a property and block management company based in Brighton and Eastbourne. For their website they required a full page HD background video, creating numerous performance challenges which were overcome through careful coding and use of best practice methods. The site was created in BoltCMS, a high performing WordPress alternative.

Rollagirls – https://rollagirls.com

Rollagirls are a group of skaters, models and dancers performing stage shows, promotional stunts and photo shoots. Their website needed to be clean and captivating, while also supplying all information and images on the home page. The site also features an online shop, selling branded rollerskates.

SilverStone Estates – http://silverstone.ldstage.com/

SilverStone Estates is a demonstrational website, created to showcase numerous technologies and design techniques which can be brought to the property industry. For this, we needed to provide an easy to manage system which allows properties to be added and edited with ease, while maintaining a world class level of performance. The property search system needed to be easy to use, well laid out and immediately understandable by visitors.
